1.	Please fill out the Entry Form and return it with your completed Scarecrow by Friday, September 21 to Feathernesters (6118 Lakeside Avenue)

2.	All scarecrows must be built on a 1 1/2” square post (they are called 2 x 2’s at Lowe’s or Home Depot)

3.	Scarecrows may NOT touch the ground and no display materials may be put around the ground under or around the scarecrow.

4.	IMPORTANT: Your scarecrow MUST be weather resistant and sturdy. Consider the wind and rain when choosing materials for your creation.

5.	NO perishable goods may be used in the construction of your scarecrow. Instead choose faux or artificial fruit, gourds, etc. If you want to add those items.

6.	Lakeside Towne Center and the merchants reserve the right to photograph your scarecrow for promotional purposes, and to remove any scarecrow that does not hold up to the weather.

7.	All scarecrows must remain on the premises through the end of October.

8.	Prizes will be awarded at the conclusion of the Scarecrow Festival on Saturday, October 6 and ribbons will be displayed with the winners!

9.	Lakeside Towne Center is not responsible for scarecrows while on display, but will make every effort to protect your creation. The garden area (display area) will be lit at night.
