Friday Night Supper Club (Every Friday Night)

Join us every Friday night from 5:30 - 8:30 for a delicious chef prepared dinner here in our Tea Room. Chef Jim creates a new menu every week using the freshest ingredients including local produce available at the neighboring Lakeside Farmers’ Market.

Mother’s Day Tea Party

Bring Mom to a very special afternoon tea party in her honor! You’ll enjoy a piping hot pot of tea from our loose tea selection, or beverage of your choice, along with a lovely 2-tier tea tray filled with finger sandwiches, oven-fresh scones, tea bread rosettes, tea sweets, fresh fruit, and lemon curd. There will be door prizes, we will play a few rounds of “Button Bingo”, and each guest will receive a handmade table favor.

Mother’s Day Brunch

Treat Mom like the Queen she is and let us do the cooking and cleanup on Mother’s Day! Enjoy our lovely Sunday Brunch Buffet with chef made-to-order omelette and waffle station, eleven hot dishes, our famous cinnamon-sugar doughnuts, and fresh seasonal fruit!

Painted Furniture Workshop

Learn all the secrets, professional tips and techniques to magically transform your dark stained furniture into beautiful vintage cottage chic masterpieces with paint! Watch as Tony shows you all the steps required to prime, paint, distress, and finish your pieces with special emphasis on choosing paint, brushes, finishes and more. We will also cover the topics of painting concrete, metal, and wicker. Attendees will also receive a copy of Tony’s resource booklet “The Painted Furniture Sourcebook” in the cost of the class.

 

This class includes a light soup and sandwich supper with dessert!

Thrift Shop 101 Field Trip

When was the last time you took a field trip? Like finding fixer-uppers at bargain prices? Come with us as we scour Richmond’s thrift and vintage shops to seek wonderful “trash to treasure” finds!

 

We will start with a hearty breakfast and pre-buying pep talk in the Tea Room at 8:30 am. Then we will leave the store by car in search of treasures at some of Tony’s favorite haunts all over Richmond. You will receive a detailed Fact Sheet with ALL the information you will need to navigate the Richmond area’s booming thrift and consignment scene as well as tips on when and how to shop to get the most bang for your buck!

 

This class includes breakfast. Very limited class size due to the nature of the event.
